Head of Talent

Responsibilities

  • Identifying company needs and working to create and implement an efficient talent acquisition strategy to improve recruitment and business performance

  • Developing and implementing employee retention programmes or strategies

  • Understanding workforce planning and resource forecasting

  • Developing effective strategies for identifying skills gaps within the workforce

  • Understanding the current recruitment trends and organisation’s markets to identify the impact upon the business

  • Developing and implementing strategies to attract diverse candidates to all areas of the business

  • Monitoring and reporting on staff turnover rates

  • Managing and delivering reports and data when required

  • Plan, build and maintain a database of viable candidates to ensure sufficient candidates are available for planned and opportunistic business growth

  • Deliver a seamless and positive recruiting experience for all candidates

  • Report on performance to action plans and timelines for assigned sourcing projects

  • Promoting and managing the employee referral programme across the business

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years recruitment experience in a professional services firm or recruitment agency

  • Experienced in the use of Social Media, including LinkedIn, Twitter etc to advertise and attract candidates

  • Strong strategic leadership

  • Experience in high volume recruitment

  • Demonstrated experience in leading, meeting and exceeding defined recruitment targets

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently to meet deadlines

  • Experience in global recruitment would be useful but not essential
