British Red Cross has helped millions of people around the world in times of crisis for over 150 years. The organisation was in need of a new online presence to sell virtual ‘gifts of kindness’ as well as ethical gifts.
It needed an ecommerce partner to bring the new site to life and generate revenue for their vital international work, and we were delighted to be chosen to work on the project.
From fashion and stationery, to art and homeware, the gift section of the site was kept clean and minimalist to make the path to purchase as streamlined as possible.
As well as buying physical items, shoppers are able to make donations to the Red Cross through virtual gifts.
We created functionality to allow customers to populate fields on the product page, which automatically sends an ecard to the recipient. Customers can also order a physical, printed version of the card if they wish.
