• What is the difference between a ‘Shopify Expert’ and an official Shopify Plus Partner?

  There are hundreds of agencies and freelancers who claim to be ‘Shopify experts’. While it is a recognised term, it’s also become a phrase used by many people who simply work on the Shopify platform.

  To become a ‘Shopify Expert’ is relatively straightforward: there is no real qualification process and there is no official Shopify Expert accreditation. If someone tells you they are a qualified Shopify expert, it doesn’t mean anything in real terms. The agency or freelancer simply needs a Shopify Partner account and can then ask Shopify for access to the Experts marketplace once they have demonstrated a basic level of expertise.

• What are the timeframes for launching a Shopify website?

  If you choose Eastside Co for your build, your dedicated project team will provide a timeframe for delivery including key milestones as part of your project’s roadmap. Every website build is different and has many variables: a bespoke build on Shopify Plus, vs a theme build on Shopify or a migration from another ecommerce platform all have different levels of complexity and requirements.

  Each project’s timeframe is unique to the project itself. What we will say is that once we have agreed the delivery dates, we communicate progress transparently and regularly throughout the project via regular calls with your dedicated team.

• How much does it cost to build a Shopify website?

  This very much depends on the project - our consultative approach means that we discuss the needs of each client individually to determine the best approach.

  Shopify has no facility to edit the default checkout page, but on Shopify Plus, you’re able to fully customise it, giving you the freedom to amend this page to help drive more sales.   Clone Stores For International Growth

  Launchpad For Event Automation

  The Launchpad app lets you easily set up and track automated events like flash sales or product launches. For example if you run a limited-time sale, it would allow you, as a Plus merchant, to automate the price changes at the start and end of the event.

  Shopify Flow To Automate Tasks

  Shopify Flow is a Shopify Plus-only tool that allows store owners to turn daily tasks into automated workflows using workflow templates, or by building your own. Examples of these workflows include tracking purchases, creating email flows and segmenting customers.

  Advanced Integrations

  Advanced integrations with third party platforms on Shopify Plus gives you more flexibility as a merchant to build functionality and features into your store.

  Wholesale Platform

  A wholesale platform is available to Shopify Plus merchants. It gives you the ability to run a separate wholesale site from your existing Shopify Plus account.

  Increased API Call Cap

  An API call takes place whenever an app takes an action (normally as a result of an interaction between a visitor and your store). For Shopify Plus merchants, normally seeing much higher traffic volumes than standard Shopify users, the cap on API calls is doubled.
