SEO Specialist – Birmingham, UK

We’re looking for another SEO Specialist to join our Marketing team. With access to a fantastic array of clients, no day at Shopify Builder will be the same and you will be given the freedom to develop at a one-of-a-kind agency. The successful candidate will be part of the rest of the Marketing team and work closely alongside a team of Developers, Graphic Designers and Business team.


  • Define and implement innovative SEO strategies for Shopify Builder’s clients, ensuring SEO best practice and effective roadmaps
  • Conduct website audits and health checks, to provide a situational analysis for clients
  • Conduct keyword research to identify opportunities, create long-tail keyword strategy and improve website content structure
  • Conduct competitor research
  • SEO content production including optimised titles, descriptions and headers
  • Support the other SEO Executive, Marketing Executives and Content Manager with engaging content strategy
  • Devise and oversee SEO technical changes through the development team
  • Manage and generate monthly reporting for client and improve manage and improve the SEO strategy for Shopify Builder and provide consultancy to other departments (design and development)
    About you:

  • Proven experience in SEO (2-3 years), preferably in an agency role
  • You’ll live and breath search marketing, and have a passion for bringing tangible results
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and able to work to tight deadlines
  • Ability to stay current with industry trends
  • Experience of effective link development techniques
  • Highly motivated and able to make their own workload
  • Result orientated
  • Working knowledge of Moz, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Anaytics and other digital marketing dashboards
  • Understanding of other digital marketing channels, including PPC, Social Media and Email, to understand how SEO integrates into a multi-channel marketing strategy

Salary: Around 20k although competitive for the right candidate

Required education: Diploma/Certificate

Must live in UK with valid work permit
Full-time permanent role
37.5 hours a week
