As designers themselves, the team at Garçonne & Chérubin knew exactly how they wanted their site to look. We’re really proud of the results: minimalist design, sharp features and pixel-perfect responsiveness working in perfect harmony.
We love the rollovers on the homepage tiles (which match the product rollovers on the collection pages). The G&C team can edit these, the homepage slideshow and the lookbook with just a few clicks in the theme settings. They can even use x and y coordinates to position each homepage slideshow image in the perfect spot.
The shop area of the website has its own menu, which invites users to browse the collection by style, material or colour. In the main menu, we used custom code to seamlessly integrate the language switcher, ensuring it looked perfectly crisp on all screens.
If a desired product size is out of stock, users can submit their email address to be notified when the variant becomes available.
Users can sign up to the Garçonne & Chérubin newsletter without disrupting the flow of their journey through the site. Rather than opening a non-branded confirmation in a new window, the text in the subscription field switches to “Thank you” once users submit their email address.
Combined with elegant imagery and beautiful shoes, the result is stunning: an understated but authoritative showcase of a thriving brand.
