A Unique Identity
Purish has a unique proposition for the beauty industry that differentiates it as a brand from other conglomerates, and the brief for the new ecommerce store on Shopify Plus was to enable that unique identity to surface through content, educating but also helping users and customers along the way.
An initial UX workshop enabled our team of experts to gather insights to understand this beauty and wellness business and its objectives, so we could help accomplish these goals with a new, beautiful, intuitive and sales-driven Shopify Plus store.
Improving the Customer Journey
A lot more emphasis needed to be put on mobile performance and navigability, so the new site improved the overall customer journey, as well as providing the functionality to create a harmonious purchasing experience.
Creating a better searching experience was a priority for the brand - they have a huge number of collections and products, spanning make-up, facial care, perfume, hair care, wellness and other categories. The site design took this into account to ensure customers can make their way around the site naturally to find and purchase their chosen products easily.
Showcasing Products
The previous iteration of the site had a poor layout which didn’t adequately convey the products and related complex content. We overhauled the product pages to better showcase them through clean design, making improved use of imagery and content sections to highlight features and benefits.
To enable the brand to cater to different international markets we included a language switcher using Langify, so users can easily switch between English and German content.
Bringing the Site to Life
Lifestyle imagery, showing the products in context helps bring them to life and nudges visitors along the purchase journey.
