Harnessing the Power of Shopify 2.0
Origin Coffee came to us with an existing Shopify website which needed migrating to Online Store 2.0. Shopify 2.0 provides a faster, more fluid experience than its predecessor. The latest version of the platform offers a more optimised site speed along with enhanced functionality and features.
It was essential that their website could withstand the existing ecommerce demand as well as offer additional features which would allow us to marry their in-store shopping experience to their online presence.

Implementing a Unique Loyalty Programme
Origin Coffee came to us with a unique vision which would see us re-launch their existing loyalty programme and enhance the experience to increase customer satisfaction and retention. Their business model was based on the need to provide a service online which matched the exemplary in-store experience.
Our team of designers worked with the client, integrating tech partner LoyaltyLion to enhance the existing product and create something bespoke to them and their customers. A reward point style programme was implemented, featuring an easy-to-access page, clearly outlining how customers can benefit from repeat purchases.
77% of consumers have stated that they feel more positive about a brand if they offer loyalty points for repeat purchasers. And over 70% of consumers stated that they would recommend a brand to a friend if they had a good loyalty programme. These amazing statistics show the impact of a good loyalty programme, and with the cost of acquisition rising now is the time to encourage retention and recommendations.
Interactive Elements To Create Personalised Experiences

One of the elements which Origin already had on their site was a subscription model via our tech partners, Recharge. Though the subscription model was successful in its own right, the addition of a ‘coffee-quiz’ which built a series of user preferences to suggest a product encourages a more personalised online experience which mimics that which a customer would get in store.

We all love coffee! And most of us have at least one a day! Therefore a subscription service was a no brainer. On average in 2022, companies which offered a subscription service were able to grow their customer base by 31%. Our SEO team were able to get Origin ranking in position 2 on Google for the extremely competitive and lucrative term 'subscription coffee'.
Offering a subscription, and allowing customers to dictate the regularity of their delivery not only provides another way to access products and services, but also makes the path to purchase more convenient and seamless.
