Launched in 2016, Potion London is a luxury wellness brand dedicated to making its customers’ lives healthier, easier and more beautiful. As the brand grew, Potion London needed a platform which could grow with them - and thus began their Accelerator Programme journey with Eastside Co.
Potion London came to us with a pre-existing WooCommerce site, with an intention to upgrade to Shopify. We managed the migration and replatformed their website to Shopify using our new Accelerator Programme. Potion London uses our Aurora theme, designed specifically for beauty and cosmetics sites. We built a Shopify 2.0 store to elevate the brand while making the customer journey easier and more beautiful. From the homepage through to the project pages, the website follows a sleek and contemporary monochromatic colour palette in line with the brand, and high-end product photography complements the overall feel of the website.
But it’s not all about looks - the new Potion London website, backed by the power of Shopify, provides customers with an easy-to-navigate online storefront. The well-structured product pages give customers everything they need, with large images, ingredient lists and product guides.
Accelerator Programme stores integrate beautifully with our key partner solutions, making it easier to add additional features such as email marketing integration, subscription functionality and product reviews.
Potion London opted to add in additional partner integrations from Recharge which resulted in a fantastic subscription option to encourage repeat custom and grow recurring revenue. Potion entices customers to sign up with a 20% discount offer.
A Klaviyo integration allows Potion London to align their email marketing efforts with the website, creating a more fluid and personalised experience for their customers.
When it comes to online conversions, we can’t push UGC (user generated content) enough. Encouraging your own customers to become brand ambassadors will boost online sales. One of the key integrations which we put in place for Potion London was Yotpo, a platform which provides advanced solutions for SMS marketing, loyalty, referrals, subscriptions, reviews, and visual UGC.
Potion London uses the reviews from Yotpo to enable prospective customers to see how like-minded people are enjoying the product and help them to make an informed decision to buy.
Finally, we also included a live Instagram feed which once again adds a human aspect to the business, helping foster a sense of community between the brand and its customers.
